The story

Houston made

K'Lavon Chaisson grew up in Houston and starred at North Shore, leading all of Texas with 15.5 sacks as a junior and earning first-team All-State honors. He took that motor to LSU — battled back from a torn ACL to become a first-team All-SEC edge and the Defensive MVP of the 2019 Peach Bowl on the way to a national title.

The Jaguars made him the 20th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. Since then he's stacked seasons on the edge — a step forward with the Raiders, then a career year in New England: 7.5 sacks, AFC Defensive Player of the Week, and a playoff run all the way to Super Bowl LX as an AFC champion. Now he's in Washington under Dan Quinn, chasing the biggest season yet.

On the field he brings relentless edge and leadership. Off it, he pours back into the communities that raised him through his Touch a Sole Foundation.
